Sorry that it has been so long between posts, it has been a crazy few weeks at school. We are going to be having talent show tryouts this week. The students who want to try out will need to do so on Wednesday or Thursday. We will be having our Christmas party on December 19th. We will be out early on December 20th. If you have any questions or concerns about what is coming up please feel free to get ahold of me.

This week we will be finishing our reading unit on kindness. We will be watching a movie on Friday to celebrate. We are working on counting by 2, 5, and 10 this week. Please remember that we have library on Wednesday and if books are not returned your student cannot check a book out.

November 14th is picture retakes. We only have two days of school next week. Tuesday is a full day no early release. Have a great Thanksgiving Vacation.

We had an amazing Halloween party! A huge THANK YOU to all those who helped and sent treats. The kids looked amazing and they seemed to have a great time. As a reminder we will not have school this Friday and next Friday. Conferences start next week, if you are unable to attend at your set time, please let me know and I will do my best to work around your schedule.

Halloween Information:

Please do not send your student in their costumes. They will be given the chance after lunch recess to change into their costumes. If you would like to help or send treats for the party please let me know. If you decide to send treats please be aware, that we have 27 students who will be attending the party. I also need to let you know that we cannot have homemade treats, all treats coming into the school must be store bought. We will start the parade at 1:30 p.m. and the party around 2:30p.m. If you decide to come to the parade or the party you must sign in at the office and have a visitor pass. For future parties, events, and field trips you must have a background check completed before you will be able to attend.

This blog is meant to give you, the parent, another way to keep track of what is happening in our classroom. I will try and update this weekly with what is happening in our classroom. This information will include everything from our spelling lists and vocabulary to our math concept for that week.
