This Week

This week is a normal week for the students. We don't have much going on this week. We do have our field trip next week, and it does cost $3.00. If  your student hasn't paid please do so as soon as possible.

Thank you for the wonderful door for teacher appreciation week. It means a lot to have such great students and parents. 

Please keep and eye out for student work on the blog. I will be adding to the student work page as the students finish. They are working so hard and I am so proud of their final product.

January 13 - 17

We will have a half day on January 17th. The students will get out at 1:30 for the end of the quarter. We will try and keep things as normal as possible the rest of the week. We will be on Unit 3 Week 5 in our Wonders Program. I also want to let you know that the students took the IRI this week and did amazing. I am so proud of the growth they have made this year and I know they will continue to make for the rest of the year. 

Welcome Back!!!

I hope your vacation was wonderful, but it is back to work for your student. We do have school this Thursday and Friday. We have a full week after that and then Friday the 17th is early dismissal. The students will get out at 1:30 that day. The following Monday the 20th there is no school for students. 

We are talking about helping out our community and the students have decided that they would like to raise money for our school. This was the students idea and will continue until May. If you would like to donate change to the class please send it with your student. I also want to say I am so proud of how giving and selfless your students are. They took this idea and started bringing in money on their own. In 4 days they have already raised over 7 dollars.
